First I did not say that intc practices predatory pricing, I said it was suspected . Secondly, a finding of predatory pricing is not predicated solely on the lowering of a price below its production cost. A finding of predatory pricing can be made if it is deemed that certain calculated acts were taken in order to create a monopoly in a particular product line. Thirdly in the Businessweek article that brought up the issue of predatory pricing vis-a-vis intc, an analyst from S.G. Cowan flat out said that intc was selling its low end chips below cost. How he would know this fact? I don't have a clue. So that is why I have not made the accusation on this thread, only suggested it as a possibility, using the Businessweek article as a reference.

Having said all that, why are you bringing this to my attention? It feels a bit like an admonishment which is surprising to me since you have brought up the issue of predatory pricing both on this thread and the intc thread as well.
