Sarmad -- I do not yet understand the ownership structure of YHOO. I know softbank owns 27% of YHOO and 51% of YHOO Japan -- but what is YHOOs part of YHOO Japan -- perhaps somebody will know and fill us in -- I have not bothered to check it out. That is why softbank is so delicious -- they have a finger in everything.

I have had trouble making money on AOL. It has a giant market cap. I have 'used' them as an on-ramp while traveling and felt I got screwed by their price structure without getting much of value. It seems to me they face a lot of competition in the future. Maybe they have also seen the easy wins and are on the road down from here. If they have an advantage it might be in dealing with people who are new to the net and need what AOL has to offer -- a structured easy to use environment.
