Hammer a little help on this please. 5-1 forward stock split - Record date of July 20th. From me it looks like in order to qualify you had to be share holder as of the record date of July 20th. What if you purchased after July 20th? Does todays closing price take into effect the 5-1 split? Early in the day freerealtime had the stock down over 4.00. Now I guess they corrected it and have it up 1.00.
I'm not totally clear on this. If Hammer or someone else could provide an explanation of the above I'd appreciate it. I've pasted todays PR below.

Effective on July 20, 1999 at 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time)(the ''Record Date''), the Company completed a 5 for 1 forward stock split of the 2,450,000 issued and outstanding shares of Common Stock of the Company.
