Well, I only glanced at the comparative chart as I look at my own so much, I did not feel the need. I will not even go back and look at it again. I will take your word for it.

I track the long bond only via the rates, as I do not invest in the bond Market at all. But I do track the rates for the influence they exhibit on equities. And the TYX has been in a descending trading channel since the early eighties. And that trend line requires rates to go much higher to be penetrated.

But I did point out at the first of January of this year, that a significant low was put in on the TYX in Oct 98, on the MDA thread. The TYX is still trading in a rising wedge and can be seen on my chart page on the MDA Web Site at:
