I totally agree. It's also a sign the end of the inet bubble is near. Days before the japan market collapsed, the value of real estate in Tokyo alone was greater than that of every square inch of California.

I intend to continue renting until the market cracks and real estate prices plunge 70 percent. There is no way in hell I'm going to spend any significant fraction of my net worth buying a house in market-mania conditions.
