Francis, I'm aware of how the game is played. Let me expand on my "what if" scenario to clarify my point for you:

What if Emerald was just about to release their new report (to their private customers) only to watch in amazement as Iomega starts to take off unexpectedly. Perhaps they then discover that another research firm has just issued a strong buy on IOM (to their private customers). If you were Emerald, what would you do?

I might quickly issue the report to my own private customers and then issue a press release announcing the report would be available to everyone later that evening. I would try to get some instant mileage out of the report since it's significance would quickly fade the longer I waited.

By the way, doesn't it seem odd to you that Emerald would only give their private investors a few hours to act on their updated report before announcing it would be avalailable to anyone?

Well, once again this is pure speculation, however, I'm still struggling trying to believe that today's move was solely the result of Emerald's four page update.

Regards - Dale
