Mike. And what you say is happening: QWST is today at the very low point of the collar. Assuming - ha- that the deal is necessary for QWST (not just somebody's ego trip), QWEST will renegotiate to keep USW or otherwise try to up QWST stock price. For USW at about 56, I think it's worth a small bet that the deal will be done and at a premium to the current $56. If not, my opinion is that with the good numbers being reported by USW, the stock @56 could, and will, stand on its own regardless of QWST. Taking a very small position in USW today. Paul.
