So, EMC has another new customer! And if it works?....EMC does what?...sell more to Network Storage, or move down the food chain with some lower cost models? Remember, EMC is the gorilla, and we all know how gorillas think. The new company may just end up putting food on EMC's plate, and that may be why EMC will help them.

My "both molds" comment...both large and small firms, whether customers of EMC or NTAP, are defining storage needs separately from server (distribution) needs. Maybe there's only one mold, and two scales of it.
