Manning: Where are those %$#@ing chips DAMN IT??? I've been calling every day...what's the story now??? Rockwell: We are in the field testing them. We'll be shipping them umm ahh well you know...soon. Manning: Oh God please help us! If I was Manning, I'd fantasize for a moment about calling Rockwell and telling them to "fork" themselves, but I'd wait. First I'd call USRX and say, "I was wrong... Please, pleasepleaseplease let us license your X2 code so we can ship this huge pile of modems out the door NOW!" Then, after a couple days or so (or whenever it was convenient), I'd call Rockwell and tell them I wouldn't be needing their K56flakes (tm) (yes, I just made that up, but I like it) code.
