Spirit, There is nothing wrong with holding long. . . .I have a few older positions that I don't wish to sell off completely. . due to capital gains. . . so they will just ride out the storm.

A long holding is just that.

My attention is on position trades, but I still have long holdings.

The great blue chippers will do fine. . . only the smaller less known and ecommerce may drop and not come back. . . the only real fear is with those that have little chance of returning.

The rest, held long enough should not disappoint in the longer term. . . and we are only talking a matter of weeks or months here.

Could be you won't do the same thing with any two stocks. . . . some might get reduced, some might get sold off, others kept, etc.
