#1...you're wrong ...... #2...you're right

#1: be fair, I don't think CMOZ ever stated it was trying to create a 'master' board.

How's this? "One of the Company's strategies is to use MBmagic's turnkey solution to pool the message board traffic from hundreds of financial websites into the same stock forums thereby creating the Largest Online Investment Message Board Service."

LOIMBS sure tries to spell MASTER to me.

#2: I agree with what you're saying. The Redwood announcement was a press release about how good their investments are without telling you the first thing to judge their veracity. I've been saying that it looks as though the purpose of the press releases is to return some zip to the stock price. You say, "If they keep putting PR's out like these it will create good buying situations for the longs." Isn't this the same thing?

Mind you that I'm not criticizing the hype specifically. Many companies, large and small, do the same thing. The savvy investor, however, needs to recognize the tactic and allow it to contribute to his investment decision.

As for me, I'd far rather see announcements about achievements instead of about intentions that may be effectively impossible to attain (speaking again about LOIMBS).
