Re: Forbes article on Atiq

Reading this article, it seems painfully clear why Atiq chose to leave AMD:

Forbes.com: Yor resignation was very sudden. Can you tell us what prompted your decision?

Atiq Raza: There comes a time when you know that what you want to achieve in life is not within the purview of the current job. I see more opportunities outside of AMD at this moment, and I am going to pursue them.

Forbes.com:What kind of opportunities are you talking about?

Atiq Raza:I see around me how people interact with each other, do business and how we are entertained and the technology, more specifically the Internet, is right in the middle of it all. You seek a huge explosion in e-commerce, but beneath that surface are communication pipes and electronics, which are not capable of delivering on the complete promise. There is a lot of opportunity in this space.

Is it not reasonable to assume that AMD was no longer heading in the direction Atiq wanted and that he could not persuade Sanders to change course?
