In defense of John (and John), I too think that Mattson has some questions to answer about the margins. For me it's not the fact that the net margins are lower now than they were at the last point that we were at this revenue level (I agree that this is inevitable given all of the new products), but the fact that they seem to increase operating expenses in sync with revenue growth. It could be that this is a one time occurence, but it is also true that generally speaking it is often a sign of a company out of control. Given Brad Mattson's history and acuity, and the preliminary success of the new products, I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt (for now), but IMO it bears watching and it is understandable that others, with less knowledge of Mattson, may be antsy.

For instance, it should be made public at what revenue level Mattson intends to allow revenue to start falling to the bottom line. It shouldn't be a surprise when they bump up Op Exp, ... .
