Question on MP3 format:

Does anyone know if the quality of MP3? I read the specs of the Diamond Rio PMP300 Portable MP3 Player and it claims that you can play 60 minutes of music with 32 megs of Ram. That is 90% less than the conventional CD-ROM audio format.

Thanks for any input.
