woe there hoss.

I guess you are so used to reading into things such as N's predictions that you failed to read my last post.

I never said you didn't believe in Christ, only that I thought (ie in my opinion) that as a Christian it was sad that you didn't look to Him for answers to whatever is obviously bugging you.

As far as harm than good: I would agree that most/all religions are politically motivated and therefore have done more harm than good - on a large scale - but not on a personal scale.

And as I stated, I am a Roman Catholic, and although I have known Mormons I am not one.

I was primarily stating a view which you apparently do not like (and why would you, having spent so much of your time trying to interpret the vagueness so correctly).

That being that Nosty was nothing but a fraud who predicted in vagueness and generalities based upon mathematical guesses he was making. The easy proof of which is that in every century until now people have been able to apply ALL of his guesses to their time and age. In 1899 people used his guesses to say the world would end in 1900, big scare, even killed a few people. In 1999 people are predicting gloom and doom. Big woop, I just think its all bogus.

"sig. see also "millenium sickness""

ps. I can leave religion completely out of it and still not believe in Nosty's predictions can't I? yup sure can.
