The only way DELL is going to move higher is for them to put up the numbers. The next earning release will determine DELL's stock action for the remainder of the year. When I was talking about DELL being dead money, my thinking was that they would have to grow into the PE and show the street that they could operate in a sub-1k and reduced margin environment, I felt at the time it would six months, I still do. So the coming earnings in my mind should reflect DELL's ability to adapt to the above mention environment. DELL appears to be making the right moves, although at snails pace, today's announcement is a step in the right direction. The consumer PC biz. is moving fast to a Cellular model, where the communication service is the pie and equipment is just plate and the fork. The consumer PC manufactures need on-going revenue to supplement the drop in price and margin, having and ISP and sickyness of a site, is the right move for DELL. The next move for DELL, in the consumer area should be home networking. They should get of their duff and be driver in Home Networking. Set up site show consumers how it's done, put together turnkey systems, with the PC at the center of it all. There $2k plus system with software to turn a PC in to jukebox is a perfect example of this. I want to see more.
