Rubert, Yes he is a professor (as you can see in his profile) and did some biotech stuff. He in fact was one of the founding members of a biotech company now called LIGAND Pharmachuticals (LGND) and has been promoting tirelessly for the past three plus years. He used portray LIGAND's technology as the only break through technology in the world on LIGNAD thread since there was no other guys with related background on that topic to question teh veracity of his claims. He used to boast his publications and I thought that this guy was very objective. Since 1996 that stock went no where. In fact I bought around $16+ and lost money after couple of years. That guy will twist numbers always in a positive way and hype even some insignificant development as though a big deal. In fact several times he used jump like a drunkard when he sees 1/8 up tick in LGND price and keep interpreting that big institutions are accumulating as though he had level-II quote. He had considerable (vested ?) options at that time (I am not sure where he stands now and according to my lawyer friend he could have been referred to SEC at that time as a self promoter) and his hope did n't materialise as had been hyping on LGND thread. Since then he started these web sites and started promoting through spamming on SI threads. I think he still is a professor but not sure whether he does his web site promotions even during market hours as he used to be couple of years back when he posted tick by tick analysis of LGND price. Try pointing out any mistake or negative thing that guy can never admit that he is wrong and will start attacking you. He is a shameless nut IMHO. You get the picture now. Happy investing! -Nat
