I have accounts with Waterhouse, Etrade and WIT capital. WIT's customer service is close to non-existant, and their user interface sucks. But their execution of order is very quick and their system is responsive. They are only good for basic order placing. Etrade - tons of fancy stuff, but no different from Waterhouse. Waterhouse's interface is old - and their system is oftentimes very slow. I find very little difference between Etrade and Waterhouse - except for the fact that Etrade can offer tons of decent IPOs - something Waterhouse couldn't even do properly on their own IPO
