The applications hosting center is specifically designed to provide end-users with superior reliability, security, Internet connectivity, and value-added managed and co-location services. The center will also house Concentric's innovative Distributed Server Environment (DSE) and Peak Protection services. Hosting Center Features
The telco-hardened ConcentricCenter in San Jose is connected via multiple OC3 (155 Mbps) and DS3 (45 Mbps) high-speed links to Concentric's private ATM network backbone with redundant connections. Concentric has developed a fully meshed ATM backbone with IP routing at the network edge. Concentric uses network equipment from industry-leading suppliers, all of which is employed in a redundant fashion to provide another added layer of protection for our customers.
