If this is not a clueless company then please help me understand why not. They are completely out of touch with reality. There is not one pharmaceutical sales representative in the entire country that has experience contracting with 3rd parties for pharmacy network inclusion. PLRX you are recruiting the wrong type of individual. You need a PHARMACIST with significant Managed Care Experience (Recruit from CI, HUM, WLP Kaiser or Pacificare. If you snag someone from the later 3 you will not even need to pay relocation expenses And who gives a crap if they have an MBA. Wake-up!

This is taken from a job-posting on Monster.com. They do not even have the title of the position correct. So much for an impressive management team. In any business you must be able to speak the language.

-Pharmaceutical sales or equivalent healthcare experience required
-Extensive network of contacts in the pharmaceutical industry
-MBA optional
-Understanding of healthcare from payer/provider perspective
-Strong sales and negotiating skills
-Ability to create opportunities and lead a team
