Well, I agree with you, however by the time "the individual investor" reads the article about a value manager buying, the stock is usually not an incredible value. IMHO, it looks like DIS has bottomed, barring a market debacle. The article in Barrons saved DIS yesterday, and probably put it on a lot of radar screens, as an up stock in a weak market.
