Well, the revenues continue to drop and had the VSGN acquisition not been made y'all would be sitting on a pre-diluted stock in excess of $8.00. You can thank Del and the rest of INPR management for that. I remember in '97 one of their senior managers made a public statement that the web was a "fad". That was published in a technical journal, it's not a joke. Then Del came in and although everybody seemed to think that acquiring an implementation of a public standard wasn't a good idea. Licensing seemed to be an obviously better idea and we now know we were correct about that.

Where is Inprise on the XML front? If they don't have a high-powered, pure XML database publishing tool and killer XML classes they're doomed. This seems to be another boat that Inprise is missing because they just don't get it. I'm not talking about token support, I mean a leadership product. For heaven's sake, I'm already using XML for persistence in my own projects and it won't be long before the rest of the world follows my lead.
