Spirit, I agree that there are too many "expecting" a crash in October. . . but old habits die hard.

In other words, I think that so many will sell-off in anticipation of a crash that it will become a self-fulfilled prophecy. . . but not as bad as last year.

I also expect the latter half of December to be full of selling. . .and expect to be doing the most aggressive buying of the year between Christmas and New Years . . . when many will be selling in fear of Y2k. . .

Remember there are about 3 or 4 "end of the world" scenario Y2K related movies coming out for Christmas. . . so fear will run rampant.

On the other hand, I believe that November and the first week of December will be very strong. . . and that there is a chance that the lows that are hit in August could be the lowest of the year.

Much to consider.
