What happened to earnings plays chit chat? Everyone announces their "triumphs" after the fact. Well, lets here it now. Been paper trading lately on both long and short sides. My one-week paper shorts have yielded + 29%. My one-week paper buys have resulted in -7%. Despite Jenna's and OJ's success, I personally feel picking potential pops and one/two day plays now is like picking a needle out of a haystack. Few said they were "long HIFN !!!" yesterday. And yes, OJ, you are correct in thinking "short" for the SOX, regardless of HIFN. I'm going long on only one EP tonight because it's taken a helluva six-day hit and whisper numbers are good. This thread has become a bit of a MAS between four key players. I think many others who used to frequent this thread are slowly bleeding and are very quiet, including myself at one point, which is why I moved to paper trading in the near term.
