I read the press release. Question is can I buy the product with all those features and how well does it perform in the real world? Besides, I don't think many IT managers will be switching storage vendors this close to y2k. Mostly just proven add-on's to current systems. I find it very hard to believe that IBM is anywhere near EMC in terms of software. Especially when you take into account that EMC has a very healthy R&D budget of its own. Do you or anyone else have any info on EMC's next generation products? Should only further EMC's lead.
