Lasik Vision Corporation Announces Opening of Two New Clinics, Company
To Open First Refractive Centre in the U.S.
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--Lasik Vision Corporation ("Lasik
Vision") (VSE:LSK) announced today its plans to open a new
refractive centre in Edmonton, Alberta. Located in the downtown
Edmonton business district, the new clinic is scheduled to open in
August 1999. The Edmonton centre will be Lasik Vision's eleventh
in Canada, further reinforcing its position as Canada's largest
operating laser eye surgery company.
In addition to the Edmonton opening, the Company also reports that
it intends to open its first U.S. refractive center. Lasik
Vision's first U.S clinic will be located in Bellevue, Washington
and is expected to be open in September 1999.
