Yes, he did a good job of helping with liquidity in the fall of 1998. And, for better or for worst, he helped bail out Long-Term. But now, raising rates? I am sorry but I just don't see the justification. He can't increase the # of people in the labor market. This is a long term problem for the US economy and slowing the economy down is not the answer.

Last, i think the biggest problem for AG is that he has lost his focus as to what his job is. He appears to be the only governmental official who will comment on the market. This is just wrong. He should stop trying to manipulate it.

With respect to this market, can you believe I had 10 calls on MU and I sold them for break-even at the close yesterday. I need a big break here. I need CSCO and MSFT to start to move. I am happy with INTC's performace of late and still can't understand why DELL is so underloved.
