There may be dozens of desert properties that contain precious metals but not many the size or quality of BRX. The present technology is probably not patentable but that could change too. Most of the public companies in this sector don't have a clue about how to make it work, so I wouldn't worry about competition right now. We are all going to be stinking rich -- long before IPM becomes a major factor in the world's gold suppliers. C L
