Mr. Frank Wells reports
Easyway Holidays of Los Angeles, Calif., has signed a five-year contract to join a growing list of vendors who select to electronically market their travel products on the Solarnet Travel Network.
Easyway Holidays specializes in selling travel packages to airline, travel agent, hotel, and cruise line employees and their families in the United States.
"We immediately recognized the Solarnet Travel Network as the ideal solution for CRS distribution directly to the tens of thousands of travel industry employees who require on-line access to Easyway Holiday travel products," Ron Armstrong, president of Easyway Holidays, said.
The Solarnet Travel Network is a dynamic and flexible means of broadcasting travel data from any source over the CRS/GDS networks, private intranets, the World Wide Web or any combination of all three.
Bob Wilson, director of sales for SCS Solars, said: "Our customer growth continues with the addition of this new tour operator in North America. This five-year contract adds yet another tour operator to our list of travel industry suppliers requiring an effective solution for distribution to all CRS users."
Easyway Holidays has operated in New Zealand and Australia for more than l8 years and recently opened an office in Los Angeles to cater to the U.S. market.
With the average contract term being four years, a further 30 contracts currently in the pipeline and the successful launch in the United Kingdom, SCS Solars is ahead of schedule in meeting its growth forecasts.
