I guess each company must file information related to the 15(c)2-11, that shows who they are and what they do. That is the information I am looking for.

I was looking at an analyst's report and it said he got some company-specific information, like who are the major shareholders, from the 15(c)2-11 form for that company. I wonder if the forms are available at www.sec.gov - I tried recently but could not find them there.
