hmmm, a notebook type device, but would that be too large?

There were a lot of discussions late last year on the old thread about 3G, global standards, migration path etc etc. to broadband wireless.

I think there must be a usable device to make 3G a blockbuster. How long has the Nokia surfing (forgot model number) device been out? I don't think it is that popular nor do I think pdQ would be a big seller.

For years, we discussed the merits of CDMA vs GSM/TDMA etc. Winning that battle gave us the QCOM of today. I think the next battle is going to be the control of both the software and hardware of wireless. Will QCOM be once again in the winners' circle or should we look at some of the other companies kindly mentioned by the number of earlier posts?
