Shorts are going to eat their shorts. The reaction we're experiencing is much like what happened when Qwest bought LCI. As an LCI shareholder I had my doubts, but the more I learned about Qwest, the more I liked the deal.

As US West shareholders and the Street learn more about where the company's going, they'll get on the bandwagon.

When analyst like A.G. Edwards see their target met in a month or two instead of 12 to 18 months, hopefully they'll learn from the analysts that made mistakes in the past and raise their estimates instead of lowering their ratings.
