This is a common misconception. How bright can she be to not know of Bill's philandering, even though secret contemporaneous tapes of his activities were made public? How bright was she in labeling the whole affair a vast right wing conspiracy? How bright was her health care bill? How bright was deducting Bill's underwear when she knew the tax return would become public? How bright was her comodities trading? How bright was it for her to get involved with the travel office firings? How bright was it for her to represent Castle Grande? Or to hide the billing records?

No, I would have to say she is not bright at all, rather she's severely dim-witted.
