Decidedly not. At times approaches "just plain ignorance", IMO, by a few otherwise very dedicated and intelligent folk, that ought to be ashamed of themselves.

When the previous attempt to start a new "Old Timers" Q thread was made a few months back I suggested they establish a web site of their own for their club discussions. Their is nothing wrong with "Ramseys Rules of Order" except that they exceed the Terms of Use of SI and we have paid our dues. Heck, we can't even banish **** from the CSCO thread.

It is a PITB to bookmark both "Q" threads (actually 4 in my case) and sometimes I forget which one I am posting to or responding on but on Ramseys thread, and out of respect for him (and the fact that "the rules" are in fact part of the topic) I attempt to follow them to the degree possible.

It does concern me that one rule is no "flaming" and some posts push that particular envelope when they attempt to enforce the rules or worse yet interpret or embelish them.

In the end their will probably be one primary "Q" thread. In the interim I'll bookmark both and occassionally participate in discussions on both and I encourage others who either are invested in Qualcomm or thinking of investing to do the same.

In a general sense this thread here does a pretty good job of serving as a model for what posting on SI should be all about. The unwritten rule of civility and tolerance is practiced here due to your fine leadership.
