Mark, I am sure that Mr. Fun would agree with me when I say that there is little to be gained from rancor.

If you read the exchange of posts you will notice that we were both incorrect in our calculations (I was much further off than Mr. Fun because of my failure to note that the baseline I was using did not restate accounts to reflect the ASND merger). Nevertheless, we were able to arrive at a consensus which more closely reflects the cash flow that the company generated during this last quarter.

Savvy investors should pay close attention to cash flow because it is much more difficult to play accounting games when you are dealing with cash. The current emphasis on GAAP earnings can be very misleading. There was a recent article in Fortune discussing this very issue. I would hope that companies would release cash flow statements along with their quarterly earnings in their press releases, but that is probably too much to ask.
