ALYA Signs Marketing Agreement with the Technology Promotional Center of the Chinese Ministry of Construction
--Makes a Presentation at the Intelligent Technology Seminar in Beijing--
BEIJING--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 27, 1999-- ALYA International, Inc. (''ALYA'' or the ''Company'')(OTC BB:ALYAE) and The Deputy Director from the Technology Promotional Center, a division of the Ministry of Construction, have signed a Cooperative Agreement to market ALYA's technology in China.
In this agreement, The Deputy Director, Mr. Huang Jiusong stated, ''The Technology Promotional Center recognizes that ALYA's O.P.E.N.centrix is the world's most advanced Security Management System.'' The agreement goes on to confirm the Chinese Ministry's dedication to promote ALYA's technology.
''In China, Government approval along with Industry participation is the key to successful penetration of this potentially massive market,'' said Mr. Jerome Ma, ALYA Director of Business Development, Asia. ''ALYA's name along with the message of ALYA's advanced technology is well established in China. We are now ready to start the sales cycle and expect to announce major projects in the near future.''
Executives of ALYA are in Beijing to attend the Intelligent Technology Seminar (where ALYA is the only invited International co.) sponsored by the Ministry of Construction and to exhibit for the second consecutive year at the International Intelligent Building Systems Technology and Equipment Exhibition, held this year in Beijing.
Douglas Corbett, President of ALYA, introduced Mr. Ma to the Intelligent Technology Seminar where he spoke to approximately 150 Chinese representatives of government and industry, introducing ALYA's advanced technology. Pictures of the event can be found at ALYA's WEB site www.alya.com.
Between July 27 and July 30, 1999 ALYA will be a participant in the '99 Beijing International Intelligent Building Systems Technology and Equipment Exhibition'. (Last year's show was in Shanghai.) ALYA is part of a group at the show consisting of the Echelon Corporation (Nasdaq:ELON - news), LonMark International and a local industry leader, Beijing Vaton Computer Tech Co. Ltd. Mr. Ma will make his presentation again at this show on Wednesday. |
