Any reason why $24 for the next target?

I really expected more volume to be generated on broaching the 28 7/8 level. I would not consider the $28 low as a capitulation point because we didn't have any significant volume. Today's action looks more like a sympathy rally with the general market and probably some more short covering and hopefull longs.

I did buy on yesterday's action and unloaded on the bounce this morning. I've reentered my short position on the close this afternoon.

I'm expecting 4 to 6 million shares to be traded on a capitulation day. Given $28 didn't do it. I believe we must penetrate the 22 level were the advance really took off to get that kind of volume.

I'm watching the 28 day ESA (currently at 29 5/16) and 49 day ESA (currently at 23 13/16) to gauge covering positions.

I wasn't impressed with today's buying action on the close. Nothing overwhelming. But the market makers seem to pop this one on the open.

Any other thoughts?
