Which of My Pal Al's mumblings were rediculous please? Maybe you have a point, but it isn't apparent yet

The clearest example is I believe his comment about the rate of increase in productivity having to slow down because as he put it it is only logical that it must or words to that effect.

Well each tech advancement these day helps us to create and develop fruther tech advances by orders of magnitude. Examples the Boeing 707 was I believe that last commercial jet airplane that could hve been designed and manufactured without a computer (or CAD).

Other here may be able to express my premise better than I. In the meantime the rate of filing of patents has continues to increase and shows no signs of abating. This is only to be expected as the tech developmets we are living through are the greatest that have ever been achieved in the history of mankind.

So there is one example of Old G being wrong in my view.

I wish he would concentrate on the one commodity that could cause price inflation and that is oil. Let him have a go at the OPEC gangsters for a few months and leave the market alone unless it needs his attention which recently it hasn't.

Best regards,

L
