I also follow ALRT and as a physician that treats patients with chronic illnesses, non-compliance is a huge deal tfor the pharms. Remember, patients with asthma, severe allergies, hypertension, diabetes and renal disease may have a life-long affliction and be a constant "annuity" to the drug company. They can increase their revenues without the time and money required (and regulatory hassles)
in new drug development or a new indication labeling by getting thieir existing patient base to more consistently use their products (hopefully forever?--their view, not mine).

If this works it should impact their bottom line and provide a benefit to those who need the meds
