CLB seems to be making a small acquisition about once a month. But CLB's stock movement lately has been inexplicable.

I went over the price history of two small independents I own, BNO & CRK. Both were over 10 throughout 1997. Now they're around 3. West TX. crude is at the highest since 1997. So something is not right here. I think what is not right is profound skepticism on the part of the investment community that crude prices will stick. I think they will.

When something comes along to convince investors, I think there will be a flood into these stocks with a brief overbought scenario.

But CLB is looking like a long term buy and hold. Hey, I think it is bullish that someone other than me contributed to the thread.
