no doubt but I believe that the impact over the longer term will be minimal. Wouldn't you think that other companies would do the same if it was really that profitable to get rid of the middle man ? Such tactics would work if you are the dominant player in the market but with declining sales ? hmmmm...

Sales have to increase at double digit rates and given the slow migration from NW 3.x to NW 4.x, I think NOVL will be in deep trouble going into the next quarter. UNIX, OS/2 and NT are not going away. They are here to stay.

Putting aside the poor fundamentals and based on technical analysis, the stock should rise to the $18 mark before next earnings. If next quarter results are as poor as they are today, then looking for stock to drop to below $11. As somebody mentioned in a previous post, there are no more excuses left.

In my opinion, we will have a chance to get out in the low teens ($17 - $19) within 12 weeks.
