I'm sorry but I just laughed my fool head off.. I honestly thought you were kidding.. You started a thread about the S&P index and did not know what the Chicago Mercantile Exchange is ??? Oh well I guess we all have to start somewhere. I would suggest however that stocks usually take a big increase from speculators purchasing the stocks before they are listed and while they are yet being considered. A lot of people find out long before any of us would. I sell options against the S&P500 every month and have a little strategy that works for me. I lost a lot of money figuring it out though so I'm not even yet :-{
