But I feel ATHM would come out as a winner because $20 fits into most of people's budget, not just the well-to-do.

People are putting in second phone lines all over. That with the cost of your ISP and your paying about what you would be paying for @Home.
I just can't see $20, not in the near future. If they did that it would also put extreme pressure on the RBOC's and their DSL offerings.
How could the RBOC's make any money on DSL if they had to give it away free? If @Home service goes to $20 I would be concerned about the FTC or DOJ getting involved. I just don't see how ISP's can make money for unlimited use at $10/month. My total @Home bill comes to $47 and change, I think many can afford that. They just need to get their priorities straight! <g>
