IMHO it is almost too late for these guys to kick exds out of the number one position. With their 80% of the high end market, they can easily absorb some new competitors in a rapidly growing market. Estimates are for the hoasting revenues to increase by a magnitude of over 15 in the next 3 1/2 years.
Now, as far as competitive competition, here is my take...ibm and intel and t are no slouches...nontheless, exodus is the clear leader and the only company with the experience level equal to theirs. The hosting decision is made after thorough research I am sure.
When in doubt, you go with the leader. No one will get a mark on their resume for selelcting exodus, it is the safe choice for mission critical jobs.
