Mike I personally don't know what is going to happen I am prepared for the worst. but really think things will be okay after about 6 months. I think the panic is to be feared more than the Y2k bug.
Just look at what has happened the last 2 octobers I have done extremely well buying things like CSCO ANd MSFT durning these meltdowns. And believe this well be a golden opportunity to buy stocks as cheap as 40-60% discount from present levels the real question will be when to buy in the fall or after the first of the year. If they get super cheap this fall I will buy a little other wise I will wait intill I feel comfortable with market. Better to buy at a higher price than to buy too soon. I am willing to miss a little upside in the next 6 months by being in cash and just buy after the first of the year right or wrong as far as Y2K goes.

Basically just tring to be cautious.
