ANCR share count - preliminary results, and final call
OK, the heavy boys have mailed in their shares over the past few days... I got 38 replies, and a total ANCR holding of 355,540 shares. Subtract one 10,000-share short, and take the numbers with a grain of salt: I did count for instance Todd and all his clients as one. Also, the numbers were obviously taken during a rather turbulent time, where presumably many people changed their holdings. Some might have mailed in adjustments, and thus got counted as two people. Etc etc.
I will post a histogram (hopefully) tomorrow, but thought I's give people a final chance: if you haven't mailed in your shares yet, do so now (today) if you want them counted. Instructions:
I've set up an email filter to count up any holding you may wish to report to me. To get your shares counted, send me (nic@idsia.ch) an email with the *Subject* "n ANCR shares", where n is the number of shares. Please make sure the subject is exactly right, or else I'll have to clean up the mess. Don't use any other characters than the digits 0-9 in the number of shares (no quotes, commas, etc). Write in a negative number if you're short.
You will not receive any acknowledgement for your message. Don't mail in your shares more than once - the filter does not check for duplicates. Don't write anything in the body of the message, it will be thrown away. The only data the filter keeps from your message is the number of shares, so anonymity is preserved.
