Not true at all.... In today's market, one cent above analyst expectations is a sure negative indicator Look at Cisco. They beat earnings by a penny every single qtr. The stock roars on... 3Com is a different case. For the next 6 months it will rise on takeover or restructuring news. Unlikely to go anywhere based on fundamentals unless they kept some revenue and profits in the bag from last qtr. Tim
