Eddie,

In Kumar's defense, he did do a U-turn back in March and said DELL was back; his exact words I believe was "THE DELL MAGIC IS BACK"! He has also maintained a 'Buy' rating throughout, short-term and long-term.

Niles however is another story. He reminds me of Tom Kurlak of Tiger Management (formerly of Merrill Lynch). He seems to have a personal vendetta going with DELL and INTEL, and refuses to budge from his bearish stance, maintaining a 'Hold' short-term, which is analyst-speak for 'Sell'.

I do agree that ALL analysts should be held accountable. Its much too easy for them to take a chance and be bearish on a stock and if correct, make a name for themselves and become the axe on the stock.

Best Wishes,

Sam
