Rll, thanks for the block trade chart. When I sorted the trades by day and size, some obvious day-trader activity showed up. But if institutions were involved, you would expect to see more large, round-numbered blocks like 10K, 50K or 100K shares. Of course it isn't very hard to program a computer to sell a large block of shares as a series of odd-ball values that add up to the desired total. It's one possible explanation but I'd sure like to hear more opinions on this one.
