I am considering HD and noticed the following:....... In the year end earnings report balance sheet section: 2/2/97 1/28/96 ------------------------------- Cash $558M $108M LT Debt $143M $720M Paying down debt and raising cash is perfect in a time of rising interest rates. I like the idea of Depot Direct stock purchase plan for the long term. Still thinking about it. Martink
